We loving using Alena's photography for all of our family pictures. The photographers make the environment fun and relaxing and take the time they need to set up the perfect picture. They are really patient and listen to their clients. The results are amazing and we are always so thankful to have such talented photographers capture our family's most treasured memories.

We are so pleased with how our pictures came out. Our wedding party was so relaxed throughout the photo shoot and we all had a fun time. Alena & Hallie are friendly and down to earth, their use of natural light and their knowledge of the local area and outdoor settings really made our choice in selecting Alena's Photography easy.
Online Proofs and Candid Shots

Your Studio is very unique. You take the time to interact with the children sitting for the portraits and with the family members and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Your studio is also open to suggestions for taking additional candid shots that the family wants taken, other photo studios take standard head shots or poses.
Other portrait studios I have used also, want orders immediately after the shots are taken. I like being able to view pictures on line at home and then make portrait orders. This gives our family time to truly view the pictures and determine which photos to order and of course all the shots are beautiful.

In August 2007, Alena Photography helped our family catch a moment in
time. Alena & Hallie took family pictures of our entire family twenty-four
people of varying age groups during our family reunion. Where some families have annual reunions ours in more on a ten year schedule. We were very specific in our location request and Alena & Hallie accommodated our needs. We had twenty-four people, six different sets of families, and children and older adults, as well as work schedules and rain delays to work with but in the end the pictures were amazing. They both work with their customers to help choose the best picture to reproduce and frame and provide a complete range of services to make sure the end results is the memory in time that you wish to capture the most.
During the actual photo shoot they just keep shooting pictures for an hour and never in that time was it a stressed out experience. Posed pictures of all the different family groups, candid pictures of the granddaughter as a ballerina to Father and Son playing like they are ballerinas and fun love family shots as well. One of my favorite shots that can be seen in their studio is of the entire family lined up at the ocean's edge with our backs to the camera and everyone jumping up in the air - you just have to go look at it. It is great.

Every photo shoot with Alena is fun, comfortable, and relaxed. She always made me feel like I was her only customer, from my first engagement shots, to my wedding, to the birth of my baby, and beyond! When I discovered Alenas photography, I was just about to deliver my 4th and last child. I knew that I would want to preserve the memories of her infancy and 1st year through photographs. I chose the newborn package and got set up to have her photos taken every 3 months for the first year.
Each session, I was met with enthusiasm. The professionalism that Alena and Hallie showed to me and my family has been unmatched. I telephoned often between sessions to decide what clothes to put on the baby and to find out what would happen in the next session. They assisted me in making those decisions. They also incorporated what I wanted and added their special touch to make the shoot successful. There were always far more wonderful photos than I could imagine. Each session, they continued to amaze me!
My favorite aspect of Alenas Photography is that there is no pressure to purchase huge packages. There is no sales pitch. I could look at the proofs in my home (or in the studio) and decide what I needed and was never made to feel as though it wasnt the right decision.
I love Alenas Photography and will definitely continue to use them in the future for all of my family portrait needs.
